SOLD - 2001 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37
This one-owner vessel has been lightly used and well-kept. Low engine hours (less than 300), low generator hours (less than 100), and little use of any of the equipment provides the next owner with a premium opportunity to acquire a much newer boat than the model year would suggest.

Design: Designed by Jacques Fauroux, this SUN ODYSSEY 37 combines beauty and performance. This twin personality, common to the Jeanneau brand is perfectly illustrated by the Sun Odyssey line of Jeanneau cruising sailboats. One example is the smooth roof design and the deck layout. The helmseats set out to the cockpit coamings provide the ideal position for steering. On the performance side, the keel/ballast ratio improves sailing stability, and the generous sail area keeps the boat moving well under all conditions. You will find a well-designed and extremely well-built vessel .
Navigation Electronics: The Raytheon RC420 chartplotter at the nav station compliments the master Raytheon RL70 radar/chartplotter at the helm where the integrated GPS antenna and 24-mile radar scanner offers expanded capability to the navigation package. Sailing electronics include the Raymarine ST-60 Speed/Depth, Wind Instrument (masthead unit inop), Auto Pilot and VHF command mic at the helm.
Equipment: The SUN ODYSSEY 37 comes standard equipped with quality sailing hardware. Of note are the Harken two-speed self-tailing winches, the block of stoppers for sail controls led to the cockpit, a genoa furler, a “full batten” mainsail, an electric windlass, step-through transom with drop down helm seat, plus a swim ladder and a stern shower for refreshing swims off of the stern. You will find the best of everything you need included as standard for your safety and comfort. Two (2) Cruisair air-conditioning units are installed with digital electronic SMX II controls providing cool, heat, fan-only modes with automatic sensing and thermostat controls. Dodger w/ Eisenglass windshield and canvas UV protection cover, Bimini, Companionway and hatch covers custom made for this boat. Sliding port shades and retracting hatch sun covers complement the interior.
Sails: Battened Main, Furling genoa headsail, and Asymetrical Spinnaker with high quality hardware. The Main utilizes a lazy jack system for ease of stowing or deployment of this powerful sailing rig.
Layout: The tri-cabin layout offers three completely private quarters with comfortable berths, plus the convertible dinette for that extra double berth. With a U-shaped dinette to starboard and a port settee this beautifully appointed main saloon has ample storage and all the amenities for comfortable living. Teak and holly sole with solid fiddles and grab rails sets off the richness and eye-appeal of this classic, yet modern, interior. The layout is designed for practical and comfortable cruising, and there is an exceptional use of available space. Each of the cabins has its own double-door hanging locker and the forward Stateroom has an additional vanity with more storage. In the Main Salon, the Nav Station to port and the L-shaped galley to starboard complete this great cruising and sailing vessel. The port head includes shower, electric marine head, shower sump with pump, vanity with stainless steel sink, and storage. The double water storage tanks with control manifold provides pressure hot and cold water for the sink and shower.
Galley: The L-shaped galley includes all the equipment and amenities for comfortable living, food-preparation, efficiency, and stowage. This vessel is equipped with a Force 10 four-burner propane stove top on a gimbaled oven as well as an in-counter installed microwave oven (inop). The double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressure water are deep and set well into the countertop. The top-loading refrigerator/freezer has great capacity and storage bins for easy management. Built-in under-sink storage and trash control.
Engine and Power: The Volvo Diesel has less than 300 hours and a Fischer Panda Genset has less than 100 hours of run time.
