Design: Designed by Marc Lombard and Jeanneau Design, this SUN ODYSSEY 39i delivers quality unmatched in her class. Jeanneau is the world leader in quality production boat building. The ISO 41001 certification attests to the Jeanneau commitment to protect our vital marine ecosystem. This is a well-designed and extremely well-built vessel.
Navigation Electronics: The Raymarine E-80 MFD chartplotter mounted at the helm is integrated with GPS antenna. We can offer the new owner the opportunity to add graphic depth sounder, 24-mile radar scanner, AIS, or any other Raymarine enhancements to this package. Already installed sailing electronics include the Raymarine ST-60 Speed/Depth, Wind Instruments with repeaters for both helms, Auto Pilot, and ICOM VHF with distress mode.
Equipment: The SUN ODYSSEY 39i comes standard equipped with quality sailing hardware. The twin wheels allow for the maximum ease of handling when at the helm and provide instant response to the helmsman. Of note are the two-speed self-tailing winches placed near the helms, the block of stoppers for sail controls led to the cockpit, a genoa furler, a furling mainsail, rooftop winches for sail deployment and reefing or furling, an electric windlass, step-through transom, plus a swim ladder. For safety, a dedicated life raft locker is integrated into the stern skirt. You will find the best of everything you need included for your safety and comfort. Two air-conditioning units are installed with digital electronic controls providing cool, heat, dehumidify, and fan-only modes with thermostat and auto-sensing controls.
Sails: Furling Main and Furling genoa headsail with high quality hardware and top-quality running rigging make the boat a true sailor’s sailboat.
Layout: For a new level of comfort, the two-cabin layout offers two completely private quarters with comfortable Queen berths. The U-shaped dinette to starboard has a convertible dinette for an extra double berth, when needed. The port settee that can be extended for additional seating or an additional single berth sets off this beautifully appointed main salon with all the amenities for comfortable living. Teak and holly sole with solid fiddles and grab rails offer the richness and eye-appeal of this interior. The layout is designed for practical and comfortable cruising, and there is an exceptional use of available space. Each of the cabins has its own hanging lockers. Aft and to port is interior access to huge storage that even includes organizer drawers for tools, spares, or more storage. In the Main Salon, the Nav Station to port has a sliding forward facing Nav table with seat and equipment stowage but allows sliding back out of the way when extra seating is needed for entertainment. The head includes a separate shower stall that is larger than most showers on boats 10 feet longer, has its own storage shelves, and a glass door for that touch of elegance. The marine head, shower sump with pump, vanity with sink, and more storage makes this the head you always wanted your boat to have. The water storage tanks with control manifold provides pressurized hot and cold water for the head, the galley and the stern swim platform. From chrome plumbing fittings to stainless steel sinks and details to the luxurious woodwork, the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i delivers quality you want but never expect in this size range.
Galley: The L-shaped galley includes all the equipment and amenities for comfort. This vessel is equipped with a two-burner propane stove top on a gimbaled oven. The double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressure water are deep and set well into the solid countertop. The top-loading refrigerator has outstanding capacity and is well-organized with shelves, sliding and moveable baskets and the included freezer compartment.
Engine and Power: The Yanmar 40 hp Diesel engine and the three-blade cruising prop are standard and provide efficiency, performance, and power when and where you need it.
