Texas Coast Yachts, LLC is the newest member of the Gulf Coast Yacht Brokers Association (GCYBA)
This month, in the regular monthly board meeting for the GCYBA, application was made and the board recommended inclusion of Texas Coast Yachts into the organization. The matter was brought before the membership in attendance at the regular monthly luncheon meeting on June 4 and the vote was unanimously in favor of admission.
The Gulf Coast Yacht Brokers Association is an affiliation of brokers and associate members from the marine industry in Texas that was formed for the purpose of promoting a high standard of professionalism and cooperation among its members. Gerry Laster, one of the principals of Texas Coast Yachts, has been an active member of the association for the past several years and believed it to be an important affiliation for TCY. His application was sponsored by Board members Don Marullo, of HSH Yachts, and Deborah Blackman, of United Yacht Sales. Texas Coast Yachts is not only the exclusive dealer for Jeanneau America on the Texas and Louisiana Gulf coast, but is also an active Broker of previously owned boats of any manufacturer. As such, TCY actively participates in the co-brokering of its own boats with other brokers in the area. This not only gives TCY listings greater coverage throughout the market area, but it also gives our buyers access to TCY representation on any boat in any market regardless of where that boat is listed.
