Texas Coast Yachts, LLC Moves To New Offices
News Release - Clear Lake, Texas - July 1st, 2010
Gerry Laster, VP/GM, has announced that the company will make a move to expand offices and co-locate with expanded and new dock space in Watergate Yachting Center.
Newly refurbished building 122 in Watergate Yachting Center (1500 Marina Bay Drive, Suite 122-A, Clear Lake Shores, Texas) will become the new home for the sales, service, and administration of the company. The company has currently been operating with offices in Watergate, Building 55, with boats on the docks in Waterford Harbor Marina. The new Jeanneau Sailboats and used/ brokerage yachts in current inventory will also make the move to new floating docks at the new office site.
President/ CEO, Jeffrey Johnson, says, "We think this is the right move for our company. We have considered other options during the past year but now is the right time and we believe this is the right place for our operations to grow and prosper into the future."
Laster further stated that the company had considered other options and had even moved through the complete building permit and architectural stages of constructing a new building elsewhere. "In fact, due to several evolving factors, we gained an opportunity to re-think and revise our plans and ultimately realized that this direction into Watergate was the very best move for us - the best move to the best location. Watergate has made major improvements in the facilities, constructed state-of-the-art floating docks, expanded and improved the breakwater into Clear Lake, and positioned itself as the place to be for us, as well as several other brokers and dealers. We think that this is quickly becoming the right place to go to buy or sell a boat and we have chosen a location that puts us at the apex of the local market, with great accessibility and visibility" he says.
The company's office move will take place during the first few days of July, 2010. The docks are currently under construction and scheduled to be completed in the coming weeks.
